The band will perform at the Telfair Museums&#8217; Jepson Center on Friday, May 13th in conjunction with the TED-X conference and The Creative Coast. UPDATE: $10 tickets for the 9 p.m. show can be purchased <a href=\"http:\/\/www.showclix.com\/event\/GIVERS\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Savannah Stopover press release, GIVERS &#8220;has recently signed to Glassnote Records \u00e2\u20ac\u201c home to Temper Trap, Mumford &#038; Sons and Phoenix, among others. The band has gained growing fame after two stints at SXSW in 2010 and 2011, and recently completed tours with both Dirty Projectors and Ra Ra Riot. They were voted one of the Top New Bands of 2010 by both Paste Magazine and Stereogum and were recently featured on NPR. The band will play the Bonnaroo Music Festival for the first time this June.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In its review of GIVERS&#8217; show at SXSW, NPR <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/2011\/03\/22\/134694804\/sxsw-2011-givers-live-in-concert\">gushed<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tiffany Lamson&#8217;s and Taylor Gaurisco&#8217;s spry vocals bounce off each other, dancing over exuberant guitar riffs, sparkling xylophones, and dynamic beats. Occasionally, their delightfully raspy voices land together, creating balmy harmonies that breeze over polyrhythmic backdrops.
